Glossary
Learn the practical meaning of common WebPro CRM terms.
Activity
A recorded customer interaction such as a call, email, meeting, WhatsApp conversation, or other touchpoint.
Deal
A qualified commercial opportunity with ownership, value, currency, Pipeline stage, and outcome.
Lead
An early enquiry or potential customer that has not yet become a formal Deal.
Lead Number
An automatic workspace-specific reference such as LD-000128 used for easy communication and search.
Lead Source
The acquisition channel through which an enquiry originated.
Lost Reason
The structured reason selected when a Deal is marked Lost.
Note
Free-form customer context attached to a CRM record. Notes can be pinned or archived where supported.
Pipeline
The configured sequence of stages used to track Deals from active work to Won or Lost.
Task / Follow-Up
An owned Work Item with status, priority, due time, and optional CRM relationship.
Timeline
A chronological customer view combining relevant Activities, Notes, Work Items, stage changes, and selected history.
Workspace
The organization context that owns CRM data, configuration, memberships, and permissions. Workspaces are isolated from one another.
Company
A business account that can connect multiple Contacts and Deals. A shared Company does not automatically make two Leads duplicates.
Contact
A person who may be associated with a Company and relevant Deals. A Contact is customer identity, while a Lead represents an enquiry requiring qualification.
Duplicate awareness
An advisory check that helps identify likely existing records. Lead warnings use matching email or normalized phone and never make Company name alone a duplicate.
OPEN stage
A workspace-configured Deal stage representing commercial work still in progress. OPEN stages are separate from Lead statuses.
Owner
The active workspace membership responsible for a Lead, Deal, Work Item, or other ownership-sensitive CRM work.
Status
The current lifecycle state of a record. Lead statuses include New, Contacted, Qualified, Future, Not Qualified, and Converted. Work Items use Open, Completed, and Cancelled.
Won / Lost
Semantic Deal outcomes. Won means the engagement is secured; Lost records an unsuccessful outcome and requires an active Lost Reason. They are different from ordinary configurable OPEN stages.
