Recommended daily sales routine

Use the Dashboard, Pipeline, and follow-ups to build a consistent daily operating rhythm.

Start with what is due

Open the Dashboard and Tasks & Follow-Ups. Review overdue work first, then actions due today and upcoming work. Update or complete each item based on what actually happened.

Review new Leads

Open Leads filtered to the work that needs attention. Confirm ownership and contact new enquiries promptly. Mark Contacted only after meaningful communication.

Progress active opportunities

Review your Deals and the Pipeline. For each active opportunity, check whether the stage still matches reality and whether a clear next action exists.

Record customer context

Add an Activity after a meaningful interaction, use Notes for durable context, and add outcome notes when completing work. Keep summaries concise and useful to another teammate.

End with a clean next-action list

Before finishing, ensure important active Leads and Deals have an owned, dated follow-up. The goal is not maximum activity—it is fewer opportunities with an unclear next step.

Morning: decide what needs attention

Start on Dashboard, then open Tasks & Follow-Ups. Review overdue items before work due today, and check whether any high-priority item needs immediate attention. Scan new Leads for an owner and first response. Review active Deals whose expected timing or stage suggests a customer decision is near.

Do not begin by moving every stage. First understand the most important promised actions and customer conversations.

During the day: update as work happens

Create a Lead when a genuine enquiry arrives. Record a meaningful call, email, meeting, WhatsApp interaction, or other touchpoint as an Activity. Use Notes for durable requirements or decisions. When one action creates another promise, add a specific Task or Follow-Up with an owner and due time.

After meaningful contact, update the Lead status. Qualify only when the opportunity deserves Deal attention. Move a Deal stage only when the expected stage work has happened.

End of day: preserve tomorrow’s context

Complete finished Work Items with useful outcome notes, resolve or reschedule overdue work deliberately, and confirm tomorrow’s follow-ups. Check that active Leads and Deals do not depend on memory alone.

A good end-of-day record tells the next person: what the customer needs, what happened today, who owns the opportunity, and exactly what should happen next.

Avoid activity for activity’s sake

Do not create duplicate Tasks, vague Notes, or stage changes merely to make the Timeline look busy. Fewer accurate entries are more useful than a large volume of repetitive updates.
