Quick Create
Start an existing creation workflow from anywhere in WebPro CRM without duplicating forms.
Quick Create is the dark primary action in the global header. It offers permitted shortcuts to create a Lead, Contact, Company, Deal, or Task / Follow-Up.
How it works
- Select Quick Create.
- Choose the record type.
- Complete the normal creation page.
The menu does not use a reduced form. It takes you to the existing full workflow, so the same validation, tenant protection, ownership rules, and duplicate awareness apply.
Role-aware options
An option appears only when your current role has the corresponding create capability. Quick Create never grants additional access.
Keyboard use
Open the button with Enter or Space, move through menu options using the keyboard, and press Escape or click outside to close it.
Available actions
Quick Create can offer Lead, Contact, Company, Deal, and Task / Follow-Up. Selecting an item navigates to that module’s existing full creation workflow. No reduced form or alternate validation path is used.
Use Lead for a new enquiry that needs qualification. Use Contact or Company for relationship information without inventing an opportunity. Use Deal for a qualified commercial opportunity, and Task / Follow-Up for owned work with a due time.
Choose the right starting point
Quick Create is useful when you already know what record is needed. If you first need to check whether a record exists, use Global Search or the module list before creating another one. Duplicate-awareness behavior in Lead, Contact, and Company forms remains available because Quick Create opens those normal forms.
What Quick Create does not do
It does not bypass workspace context, permissions, required fields, ownership rules, duplicate warnings, or relationship validation. It also does not save a partial record from the menu. Complete and submit the destination form as usual.
On a smaller screen, close the menu with Escape or by tapping outside before continuing navigation. If an expected option is missing, confirm your role rather than looking for an alternate URL that might bypass access.
