Data Export
Download workspace CRM business data as CSV files for reporting, backup, or offline analysis.
Organization Admins can open Settings → Data Export and download separate CSV files for Leads, Companies, Contacts, Deals, and Work Items.
Appropriate uses
- Business reporting and offline analysis.
- Customer reconciliation and operational review.
- A controlled business-data backup outside the CRM.
Each export uses business-readable relationship labels, tenant-local timestamps, and a stable Record ID for the base record. Deal amount and currency remain separate; no currency conversion is performed.
Handle exports carefully
CSV files can contain customer contact details and structured notes from the exported records. Store them only in an approved location and share them only with people who should have access.
Activities, the separate Notes subsystem, Deal Stage History, and Audit Events are not included as ordinary MVP exports.
What can be exported
The Data Export page provides separate downloads for Leads, Companies, Contacts, Deals, and Work Items. Each action creates a CSV using current workspace business data. There is no combined ZIP and no arbitrary table selector.
Lead exports include the human-readable Lead Number for operational reconciliation. Relationship values are represented with useful labels rather than internal authority identifiers. Deal amounts remain exact values with a separate currency; the export does not perform foreign-exchange conversion.
Download a CSV
- Open Settings → Data Export as an Organization Admin.
- Read the description for the entity you need.
- Select its Export button once.
- Wait for the browser’s normal download behavior.
- Store the file only in an approved business location.
A successful export with no matching records still contains the appropriate column header. Exporting does not change the CRM records.
Appropriate uses
Exports support offline analysis, business reporting, controlled backup workflows, and reconciliation. They are not a replacement for regular CRM use: changes made in a spreadsheet do not flow back into WebPro CRM because import is not part of this feature.
Handle files carefully
CSV files may contain customer names, emails, phone numbers, commercial values, notes embedded in structured business fields, and ownership information. Share them only with people who are authorized to receive that data. Avoid personal file-sharing accounts, unprotected email attachments, and indefinite local copies.
If a download fails, retry once and report the export type and approximate time. Do not send the CSV itself through an insecure support channel.
